2008 Wrap-up

2008 City Park Criterium Poster (PDF Link)Rocky Mountain Road Club and Rocky Mountain Spine and Sport thanks you for joining in on the 2008 edition of the City Park Criterium. We enjoyed great weather, awesome racing and a fast new course that people really enjoyed.

If you have any comments about the race, please contact our race director, Dave Fleck, fleckd78 At hotmail dot com. Results are available on the American Cycling Associtation's web site.

Overview

Rocky Mountain Road Club and Rocky Mountain Spine and Sport are proud to present the 37th annual Fred Prindle Memorial Denver City Park Criterium on Sunday, June 1st, 2008. This years race is senior bar/bat and features an extended 2 mile figure-8 course around City Park Lake. ACA/ROL Wheels neutral support provided. We are projecting more than $5,000 in cash and prizes thanks to our many generous sponsors!

The Course

The 2008 course will take advantage of newly repaved portions of the Denver's City Park in a 2 mile figure 8 loop. This course will provide wide open sections for aggressive racing and several very technical turns to ensure an action packed race. Due to a conflict with City Park Jazz, only races before 3pm will be able to use the long course. Other races and the Robinson Dairy Kids Race will use the short course.
